Topiwala National Medical College is situated in Mumbai in Maharashtra state of India. Established in 1921, it is accredited from DCI and it is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. The Physiotherapy Centre was established in a small room in the old building with Shri M.L. Chainani, a graduate of the first Batch of Physiotherapy in India in 1956. Initially the Department provided patient services. The Department has developed over years from its budding stage, to a full-fledged teaching and treatment centre.
