Recognising the growing need and awareness for rehabilitation medicine in the field of health care, NET established the Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy in 1997. The Institute is now a constituent unit of the Nitte University, recognised by the Government of India and the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP).
