To overcome the dearth of Pharmacists, Nagrik Shikshan Sanstha started the college of pharmacy. Diploma in pharmacy is the minimum qualification for registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 and according to section 42 of this Act the profession of pharmacy is reserved for the Registered pharmacists only. Under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act a qualified person is one who holds a Diploma in pharmacy and/or a registered pharmacist.Nagrik Shikshan Sanstha’s College of pharmacy offers the course leading to Diploma in Pharmacy (part I and part II).  Hostel facility is available for its students.
